The formula of the Refresh Plus eye drops shares many of the same healthy qualities as your own natural tears. The active ingredient is Carboxyl Methylcellulose Sodium (CMC) at 0.5%, which serves as an eye lubricant. The inactive ingredients include Calcium Chloride, Magnesium Chloride, Potassium Chloride, Purified Water, Sodium Chloride, Sodium Lactate, Hydrochloric Acid (which may be added to adjust the pH), and Sodium Hydroxide (which may also be added to adjust the pH).

If you experience eye pain, changes in vision, or continued redness or irritation of the eye, or if the condition worsens or persists for more than 72 hours, stop using the product and consult a doctor.
